In 1997, sister company Antistat, received an enquiry from Saatchi & Saatchi. The company were about to embark on a promotional campaign and were looking for metallic envelopes to make their DM stand out above the rest. Antistat provide packaging for the electronics industry, and one of their core line items are static shielding bags, a stunning metallised envelope designed to protect its static sensitive contents, however due to the technical properties of the material the costs for a DM campaign seemed a little excessive.
In response to the brief, Antistat set about producing the metallised material without the technical characteristics and at a fraction of the cost.
Seeing a gap in the market, Cyberpac was born and has been going from strength to strength since.
