Ant Group has been awarded Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2020 for remarkable growth in overseas sales, within the last 3 years.

But first, a bit about Ant Group

Ant Group (comprises of Antistat™, Integrity™ Cleanroom, Cyberpac, Metal Card Co) was established over 30 years ago, by John Hensley. Aged 21 and with the help of a £2,000 loan from the Prince’s Youth Business Trust, John began trading with Marconi on radiation-hard silicon for sapphire wafer projects for defence, space projects and SATCOM.

Throughout the years, Ant Group has built excellent relationships with world-known organisations, including the RAF, AWE, HSE, Audi, SONY, HP, Apple & hundreds of blue-chip technology orgainsations. This global reach allowed the organisation to cater for many different sectors and expand into diverse markets.

Ant Group now delivers innovative packaging (that’s also us!), specialist ESD & Cleanroom Consumables and provides global trading service, supply chain management and procurement to manufacturing organisations, in over 60 countries.

Winning The Award

Ant Group has been recognised with an esteemed Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade for outstanding growth in overseas sales over the last 3 years. This Award will help Ant Group and its divisions achieve worldwide recognition and boost staff morale.

Now in its 54th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for the next five years. This year, 220 Queen’s Awards have been announced for outstanding business achievement in the fields of International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility). Ant Group will celebrate its Award during a royal reception for Queen’s Awards winners in the summer at Buckingham Palace.
